Default What are my chances ?

My truck has had bad cam phasers since I bough it, almost 4 mOnths ago.
My primary dealer has refused to fix it due to not being able to replicate the knocking

Went to another dealer and they said they can fix it but booked me in 6 weeks. My fuel mileage is double what it's supposed to be, what are my chances of gettig a in-store credit or reimbursement for all the money my truck has burned in fuel?

Your chances are slim to none. They'll fix it and you'll move on.

It doesn't hurt to ask and if you do get it, you're in the minority.

You lost me on the mileage part but that sounds horrible.

You said you were getting double your mileage which is the opposite of what you meant I think... You are getting half of what you should be.

Yes.

Wow, that is brutal mileage. I get significantly better with my travel trailer in tow.

Driving in 4x4 doesn't help things but that is awful!

EDIT: To answer the initial question: Another vote for "you're likely to get no compensation." There is no way to legally quantify it especially since it would probably come down to necessary driving vs leisure driving or something like that.

Yea this is my daily driver. I drive 20 k to work everyday. Just sucks that the one dealership knew there's a problem but does nothing

When someone pays $3,000 for a extended warranty it sucks when you get turned down, when a problem is present

Sucks big time. I wish things didn't always have to work out this way.
I bought an extended warranty... once.
