I know that this may seem off topic, but could this be the reason why the guys on the TFL Truck can't never get the electrical brakes to work properly? I have an '12 F150 with the electric trailer brake installed, but I'm not sure if I have this harness and have to do more with it.

I only installed mine because I tapped into the 7-Pin wire harness to run my led Bedlights!
So do they not expect you to tow with your F-150? Lol

I have one of these from my 2011 F-150 that I don't need. Anyone in the market for one?

also, to clarify for some of you, you only need this adapter for an aftermarket brake controller. you don't use it for the Ford controller.

Most people don't tow. Heck, most trucks are nothing more than glorified, jacked-up pavement queens. It's the evolution of the SUV craze.

Tell us what you really think!

(I happen to agree with you and think that is what has pushed the price into the stratosphere, sadly)

I want to hook mine up in preparation for the TT I'll be buying this coming year.

But you do need the fuse and relay in either case, if you want the constant power/battery charge circuit in your 7 pin connector to work.

If it ain't in the baggie (as shown above) when you receive it, look here:
