We have Husky in the truck and in our car, including the trunk liner. Really like them. When I clean them in the tub in the winter and look at the nasty mess left behind I can't imagine what our carpet would look like without.

Truck ones are 4-1/2 years old. Just moved them to my "new" truck as there was absolutely no reason to consider replacement.

I have been looking at mats too. Looks like the Maxpider mats are foreign made and the Weathertech and Husky mats are American made.

I bought Weathertech because they are made in USA. But when you go to the factory store and see the high end Porsche and motorcycle collection and fancy showroom, that's what your paying for!!

One of the few things I did not like about my truck was the tiny rear floor mats in the screw. I was used to the complete rear foot area mat my frontier had. $75 bucks later from Lloyd mats and I have a much nicer than stock mat that completely covers the rear floor and it prefit for the subwoofer. Looks great too and little feet cannot ruin the area around the stock floor mats anymore

HAHA! Sorry im late fellas, I dont peruse this forum as often anymore as I traded up to an f350 platinum with the 6.7 powerstroke and I freaking love it, that things a beast! I am still active in some threads however and use the android app, it doesnt notify me of mentions so I missed out on this one apparently! I fought the good fight trying to spread the truth about about how ****ty weathertechs are for a few years so there should be plenty of info that comes up in a search about this subject, lol! Heres a little backstory just cause im kinda bored.

I was pretty pissed about spending 200$ on garbage floor mats so I kinda made it my mission to inform the populace so that new people in search of a quality floor mats could make a more informed decision and not end up with expensive ****ty mats like I did and I think my goal has been achieved. There are many others here now that have actually had or at least have seen multiple brands of floormats and know how bad weathertechs are compared to the competition. They will carry on and help out the new people asking about floor mats in my absence.

When I was new to this forum and was asking this question everyone was overwhelmingly recommending weathertechs so I got them, figuring for how expensive they were and all the recommendations they got they had to be the best floor mat on the market right?. WRONG! The only thing positive about them is the shape for the front seat mats, going up the sides and over the sill to drain water out the door. Otherwise they were the absolute worst floormats ive ever had or seen in my life. Hard slippery plastic that doesnt stay in place and the large super crew backseat one is ill fitting and so flimsy it slides around and rolls up. I couldnt believe they were recommended by so many people when almost literally anything else is better. Weathertechs should be more in the 30 to 50$ range for as bad as they are.

I discovered a brand called Aries that is apparently kinda rare cause no one had ever heard of or seen them before and they are still hard to find. They are the exact same shape as the weathertechs and I mean fricking identical but are made from a heavier thicker rubber which makes them have some grip so they arent slippery and dont slide around. They about the same price as weathertechs, maybe a few dollars more but they are well worth it. 1000x better product. Unfortunately they didnt make a rear seat one the same shape as weathertech and the aries brand rear seat one only covered the foot area and didnt go out over the sills or under the seat like the weathertech. Which depending on your intended usage may or may not matter to you. the slipperyness and sliding around is a trade off for the area under the seat and draining over the sills so I kept the weathertech to save some money since I already had it but knowing what I know now I wouldve bought the aries, or even husky which i had never heard of or seen at that time. They get lots of positive mentions on here now though.

I never missed a floor mat thread for a few years running. The weathertech fanboys and I went rounds and rounds resulting in pretty much every floor mat thread for 2 years to become locked, lol! They had never even seen other brands so they had nothing to compare too and they apparently didnt believe me so they kept pushing weathertech and arguing with me. They didnt want to admit there were superior products out there for some reason. All you have to do is compare weathertech and aires side by side and the quality differences are pretty clear and I dont believe that anyone would leave the store with weathertech if they do a side by side comparison. As time went on more new users started posting their experiences with how bad weathertechs were compared to whatever other brand they got next and eventually the weathertech fanboys calmed down. There hasnt been a floor mat thread locked on this forum that im aware of for quite some time now, haha!

I actually bought the rear seat weathertech for my f350 and its worse than the f150 super crew one. There are factory storage boxes under the seats so the mat is in front of it with a narrow strip on each side that goes around each side. People on here with extended cabs claimed their rear seat weathertechs didnt move so I figured if they were right and since it was smaller than the one for my f150 and due to the boxes under the seat with the strips on both sides it should pretty well hold in place so I got it. Ive had it about 10 months now and it doesnt quite move as much but the narrow strips on each side are still sticking up in the air quite a bit because it came rolled up in a box. Its never went flat against the carpet like it should cause its thin slippery plastic garbage! I was gonna put it in my shop and set something on it for a week or so to see if it would flatten out but i havent yet. I do know that i will never again purchase a weathertech floor mat, nor any other brand that uses thin slipper plastic.

TL;DR Weathertechs suck and are way too expensive for what you get, Aries are expensive as well but they are the best you can get for front seat mats and are worth it, I cant really recommend a good rear seat mat as I didnt like the coverage of aries offering and have never used it but I can confirm that the weathertech one for super crew sucks also, my next go around id probably try a husky or even the ford factory rear one. After my f150 and f350 experiences I will never buy weathertech garbage again unless they improve their quality and start using thicker heavy rubber.

I don't have the experience to argue for or against the huskys or Aires/Aries.
I will say tho, my previous gripe has gone away. I used a Magic eraser on my drivers side and it did the trick as far as cleaning goes. I sure would like to know the secret. There is nothing they can't clean.
One more small point, I don't have the problem of my passenger side moving around. It has nowhere to go.

I have the weather techs in my '11 screw f150. I love them. Got them at a reasonable price. Thy don't move at all. The full coverage in the back is mandatory for me. Between 2 dogs and tools, materials I need the coverage. My daughters boots didn't effect the carpet all winter. Worth the money right there. I also bought them for my ladies Rav4. They work well in that vehicle as well.

This has got to be one of the most inaccurate posts I have ever read. Why does a mat have to be heavy rubber to be high quality? I've had Weathertech floor liners in our '05 4Runner, '11 Camaro (including the trunk mat) '11 Tacoma, '12 Tacoma, '12 F150 SCrew, and '13 F150 SCrew. Every vehicle has fit perfectly. I've had no issues with any of the fronts or backs sliding or moving around. The coverage is outstanding and the carpet under them is just like new. They are lightweight and super easy to clean. Every set looks as good as new when cleaned up. Yes, they come rolled up in a box, but they reassume their correct shape within a day or two. I have never been disappointed with any set that I have ever had. They are also made in the USA. Call me a fan boy if you want, but these are great mats. If they make them for my vehicle, that's what I'll be buying.
