First off, my sincere thanks for your service - especially for those undoubtedly tough tours of duty.

Its easy to type a reply based on "assumptions" (implications of that word being so dangerous). Figure about now you'd like to simply delete this thread w/ subsequent posts. I think it was your thread title that set some of us off. My thinking is, let's all give it a rest and learn by sharing...

Edit: I'm very sensitive about people making stuff up regarding deployments. I've lost many great friends, some died in my arms over there. Moderators, I'm sorry, but these things set me off.
