sounds like you need to learn to do your own work. definetly don't take it in for an oil change. how do someone screw up a rearview mirror, loosen set screw and slide off the holder is attached to the windshield. none of my vehicles ever go to a car wash. the touchless are the worst, high pressure and harsh chemicals. the best car washes use chamois instead of brushes but if they are not changed out regular or they let a muddy truck go thru they will scratch also.

Nicely done. Mind if I use that?

When a company doesn't do the job right, I refuse to fix it myself. Let them fix it and break the windshield.

Check their work carefully before you pay and drive away.

On my 14 the mirror is not held on by set screw. As far as car wash. I took it to fund raiser wash and they used scouring pad to wash it. I stop them as soon as I saw them with it. They mess up a lot of people's car too. I since bought my own pressure washer. I'll have all rest of the scratches fixed next week. Just need to have pass door handle, tail gate handle and chrome piece that holds camera replaced. Then all be good.

Good reason to support high school or church car wash fund raisers by driving in, handing 'em a donation and then keep going w/o the wash job...

Look man, pay attention to what's going on around you. You just don't take a vehicle that you value to a charity car wash. Like those folks (kids) are experts on cleaning vehicles. There are more than 1 tint shops in every town, so checking reviews before taking yours there just makes since. Sounds like you just go through life blind and hope everything works out in your favor. Sorry man, but you're not going to get a lot of sympathy here when all the things that went wrong you could have prevented.

What??!!?? I'm retired Army and have spent many years overseas and deployed to many dangerous areas, some I can't even name. Don't even go there, as I think you're full of crap here. You can't even type proper English so I doubt you ever spent time in the military. I've deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq several times and have lost several great friends there. You need to disappear right now and stop posting. Just go away. Don't ever bring up "war zones" here buddy, as most of us here are in the service are retired. Anybody feel I was too hard on him go join the service for a few years, lose your buddies in a bloody mess and then come back here and post. Enough said!
