What do you wish you had back?
1970 I was a Junior in HS and I bought an all original, one owner, matching numbers, Marina Blue 1969 SS 396/375hp Nova. IIRC it was $2900. What a sleeper, 4 speed, bench seat, hub caps. Chevy never should have put that engine in that car. HP was way under estimated for insurance reasons and it was scary fast.
I cry every time I see a Barrett-Jackson auction.

This list is long for me. Here are a few of the most memorable:
First car I had was a '78 MGB. Don't have pics of that one, but really wish I had it back. It was just a fun little runabout.
I had a '78 Trans Am. If I knew then what that thing would be worth today...
This one though: '86 IROC. The original 305 POS was on its way out, so I built a 350 Edelbrock Performer RPM Package motor. 425hp, 420ft/lb with a torque curve as flat and long as North Texas. Didn't have the time or money at the time to finish it right (tranny, driveshaft, brakes, suspension etc..), so sold it.

My 1968 Fairlane 500 2-dr hardtop gulfstream aqua with parchment leather interior. 302 automatic ac/ps. First new car I ever bought. $3750. out the door. Would love to find that car and do a total restore. Actually kind of rare, because that was the first year
ford came out with the Torino trim package. I found out that all you got for the extra $200 was the Torino badges and velour upholstery. I wanted the leather so all I would have had was the $200. badges.
Would love to have that car back. Put 200,000 miles on it and traded for a 76 Granada.

My 1968 torino gt fastback. I bought it used in 1971 with 16000 miles.
It had a 390 with a 3 speed man trans. It was aqua/seafoam w/black
gt stripes w/ white vinal seats. It was my first car and the girls loved it!

+1
Lost a hair under 14k in my STi in mods. It was on the dealer lot for 3 days before someone scooped it up. They got a hell of a deal if they knew what they were looking at.
Modding is absolutely horrible when it comes to resale, but I had fun doing it (install everything myself) so that's all that matters at the end of the day to me. All my buddies think I'm crazy.
