The $16,000 in modding my '88 Mustang GT that I never recouped when selling it. While the economy still in the crapper it was worse when I sold it. Had $22,000 in it and sold it for $6,800 guy got a hell of a deal on a very fast car!

That's painful... My buddy dropped 20k restoring a Sylvia, now he is trying to sell it for less than 10k... ****ing brutal. I told him to sell his dumb RZR side by side and keep his baby. So much work and time put into it and he has no attachment... Dumb

Worst part, he could sell the RZR for like 12k and not lose money really. Oh well, to each their own.

86 Bronco. Dad bought it almost new (guy bought it, couldn't make payments sold it back 3 months later). I rode around in that truck since I was 2, it was my first car. It was running really rough and needed a lot of work done, so one weekend visiting home from college I left it at home to dad could take it to the shop (he was real particular about who worked on it). I come home the next weekend to see a 97 f150 lairat sitting in the driveway. It was beat up and the seats were torn, tires bald. Dad had traded my bronco and a crappy tarus for this truck. We drove by the used car lot where the bronco was the next day and I seriously shed a tear.

I can relate. The Cobra I sold had a good $20K in mods. The KB supercharger was $5k alone. I still have rectal pain from that sale!

My 2000 f150 it had 158k but if you drove it. You would've swore it was new. Reason I sold it. Was cause it had the 4.6 and I wanted the 5.4.

Miss my 1982 Mustang GT. If I had put as much money into that car as I have the cars after it I would have an 8 second car.
