What do you wish you had back?
I was thinking that I wish I had my GT500 back. Had to have a truck for several reasons but my Cobra was just a pleasure to sit in. Didn't matter how fast or slow you were driving. Show a car or truck you know longer have but wish you had back. Not necessarily what you replaced with your truck
It made it worse when I saw my cobra on the used lot.

Say what you will about it. But it WAS and always be the best car I had ever owned. The screwed up thing is when I got rid of my car it was the last of it's kind in Deep Slate. I still miss it and when I do find pictures of mine from back in the day I get all nostalgic.

Never got to finish it.
Had: comp stage 2 cams, 4-1 race header, magnaflow catback, lightweight racing wheels, svt dsi manifold conversion (I think I was the only one back then to do it). Had a ported head with titanium hardware that was slated to go on. Was targeting 175whp with it. Was a blast to drive on the curvy back roads.

1985 Dodge Ram, bought it brand new in 84. It was my first new vehicle. I loved it. But we had more need for a four door sedan so I sold it around 93.
The guy I sold it to wrecked it a couple of weeks later. Thanksgiving morning about 10 AM, drunk as hell, killed two woman who were on their way to church to cook Thanksgiving dinner for homeless people.
I saw a pic of it on the TV news. The entire front end was gone. Them poor woman never had a chance.
I always think about if I had not sold it maybe he would not have killed them.

My 1968 Plymouth GTX
It had a 440 magnum engine that my dad and I pumped up to at least 450 HP coupled to a bullet proof Torqueflight 727 auto.
I used to put street slicks on it in the summer and make good money racing on the streets of Ohio.
Because of the street slicks I could put the horsepower down and was gone while other high horsepower cars (Hemis, Yenkos, Chevelle 454's) sat smoking their tires.
It was like driving a Stock car on the streets. It had a speedometer that went to 150. When I dropped a set of 323 gears in, I took it up to 140mph on a freeway no problem. I don't think the Goodyear polyglass tires were rated for that. Ha. One hundred octane gas was twenty three cents a gallon.
Those were the days my friend.
