Default What do you use to clean blk trim on doors?

Do you guys use anything specific to protect that plastic trim on the doors from fading? They started fading on my 03 and I do not want this to happen to my 10. I was just thinking tire shine or armor all.

I have used Mothers Back to Black for all my trim. It worked wonders on my old 4runner when I took it over from my wife. All the exterior trim, bumper covers, hood cowl, windshield wipers, brush guard etc had grayed out over the years.

I just bought this F150 recently and noticed some of the trim was starting to fade/turn gray-ish a little bit. So i applied this stuff again and it looks good again. Depending on how dry or faded it is, sometimes it has taken me a couple applications to get it looking good and even. In those conditions, it looked bad and uneven colored until it was good and absorbed everywhere.

Turtle wax makes some stuff for it. Can't remember the exact name. It works great the first time.

I like Appeal dressing. It's a concentrate so you can dilute depending on how much of a gloss you want.

Surf City Garage "Black Max" is great for trim and plastic. can even be used on tires but it's a little thick for tires...

I have some stuff I bought from Car Bright. They sell mainly to wholesale customers like car dealerships and detail shops, but you can buy the stuff as an individual also. I've been using their leather and vinyl cleaner & treatment on the interior for years.
