Default What do you think? Raptor wheels or Toyo on stock?

Have a 13 FX4 with black appearance pkg wheels. Looking to go to a larger tire- Toyo 275/65/20 on the stock wheels or BFG all terrain 315/70/17 on Raptor Wheels?

The Raptor wheels/ tires are take offs (200 miles) and can be had for less than the Toyos on my current wheels. I can also sell them to further reduce the overall cost ($500?)

$1466 mounted/ balance/ etc for new Toyos
$1250 for Raptor (-$500) or $750

Thoughts?

personally don't like the raptor wheels and the FX 20's are the some of the best OEM wheels out there for these trucks.

I've gone through similar math since I too have a set of 5 Raptors wheels bought in advance of my ordered truck arrival. I'm actually liking the standard 18" FX wheels, so will replace G-Y P-metric SRA tires on just 4 wheels vs 5 on Raptors. I've decided to keep the OEM 32.1" LT275/65R18E size since speedo is dead-nuts accurate right now verified by 2 separate Garmin GPS units. Raptors are "on the block" locally...

I found a deal locally on a set of SVT beadlock wheels and new (200 miles) tires. $1350. Here's one pictured next to my Miata... looks like a monster truck tire! the pro runner shocks 2" level (front) and 1.5" back and 1.5" spacers should allow everything to fit nicely. I'm planning to paint the beadlock bit black.

Why? Too late anyway. I think it looks excellent. I'll post pics when complete.

So I decided to take the rims to be powdercoated. Paint did not seem like it was going to be durable enough. Also experimented with red bolts but ended up deciding on all black.

Those do look nice but I don't get beadlock-capable wheels not actually clamped to tires?
Seems sorta like wearing a "muscle shirt"?
