Default What do you all use for oil?
Getting ready to approach the first oil change for the truck.
I normally run a good Mobil Synthetic. What would you all
recommend for the Ford 5.0

I recieved free oil changes for the first 30k miles with my truck, so it is getting OE Motorcraft at the dealer. After that I will be switching all oil/fluids to Amsoil as the come due.

I have no such "free" oil changes! Damn it. Educate me on Amsoil? I thought it was made for diesel motors!

I will be staying with a syn/conv blend for the first 15,000 miles.
Also, only use the weight recommended. DO NOT use a thicker oil.

Amsoil. Better oil and change every 15k (rated for 25k but I'm paranoid) instead of every 5k... Save time and money along with their filter.
