Yeah I would get the -12mm ones as well. I got the +12mm ones because I had them when I had my 2.5" level and the -12mm ones would not have fit. When I get 37's I am going to get wheels that stick out a bit more.

I love the look of these Black Rhino Rockwells and I like the machined lip as it cuts up the look of the truck. The only thing that is a pain is cleaning inside of the 8 spoke parts...dirt just always stays in there. Not that big of a problem though in the grand scheme of things.

haha yea, i knew you had em so i looked at your truck to make sure i liked em haha. but when you got the +12 what was the stickout? and right now all i have is a 2.5 level so the -12 wont fit???

Rocky, how do u like your rc 2.5 kit with 35s? Any real negatives like harsh ride? I know a 6inch is better, and needed for the wider stance u want to go with the flares, i just want some 35 toyo mts on my stock 18s. Any advice?

if your talkin bout the toyo open country mt then thats a good choice bub haha, ill be goin with those or the nitto trail grapplers next. but i do love the mud grapplers. there beasts lol.
anyways the 2.5 leveling kit does good. the bumps are a little rougher but i think that has alot to do with the bigger tires(more psi). other then that there are no problems. itll definatly make your truck look meaner. you can see that in my before/after pics. with the rc 2.5 kit and 35's you dont need to trim anything on the fender or anywhere. but i did have to buy 1/4 inch spacers for my tires cause they rubbed at full turn. idk if youll have to do that with toyos cause the mud grapplers have beast sidewall tread, like inch tread on the sides haha. but the kit is great, no problems, maybe 2 hr install time and resonable price. i think youll like it if you go with that choice.

Not with just the 2.5" level. You will need your 6" lift first. Since you got 35's they will rub everywhere and would be undriveable. I dont remember what the wheel width is for 18's but if it is 9" like my 20's, then your backspacing would be 4.5" with the -12mm ones. That size with a 35" tire is reserved for 4"+ suspension lifts or a 3" body. My +12mm stick out .6" more than stock. stock backspacing was 6.14" and im at 5.5" now with the +12mm wheels.

Hahaha. yeah it is pretty confusing. I have no idea how he got those numbers. I would take a guess at saying he also incorporated the thickness of the tires. So for example: (Ill try to make this understandable without rambling)

My setup: I had stock 275/55/20 Pirellis on stock 20x8.5 6.14" +44mm offset wheels. So the stock tire is a 31.9 x 10.8. My new tire is 35.1x11.6. Only .8" wider than stock so each side would see a .4" increase of section width from stock. Next we have the wheels. A 6.1" BS vs my new 5.5" BS. That is .6" extra of rim sticking out. So I have currently a total of 1" extra from stock that sticks out.

With your 12.5" tire you would see an increase of 1.7" (.85" on each side of rim) then you have from about a 6" BS to the new 5.5" BS of the +12mm wheel, so you are looking at about an 1.4" extra. The -12mm would be 4.5" BS so about 2.3" extra.

I would have to hear an explanation of how he got his numbers because we are looking at it differently. I dont know who is right and frankly I dont care who is right/wrong but I want you to get the right information. Just because it makes sense in my head doesnt always mean its right. haha.

Bottom line is we agree that you should go with the +12mm offset if you want to get the wheels now. They will fit with the level nicely as they would push the tire away from the UCA about .5". This way you can get rid of the spacers (unless you want them). However you might need the 1/4" spacers when you get the RCX lift because I dont know that that kit works with wheels with a 5.5" BS. You got a newer truck so I dont know as much about them as I do the 04-08 lifts. Most kits just say 4.5" BS as to be safe.

yea, i understand that. thanks for all the info and explaining it. it sounds to me like your right haha. but i guess yall was pretty close on it. 1.4/1.5 same in my book haha. close enough at least. and yea, i was readin on the lift and it say 4.5-5.0 BS so i might just wait till i get the lift to get rims. i really dont want to but id rather wait then have to buy 2 sets of rims haha. i do like the rims tho. do you think theyd go good on my truck? they look good on yours for sure but yours has alot of black. but the rockwells have alot of silver too. i think theyd go pretty good. what do you think?

Truck looks good but you definitely need more offset. It looks kindof silly with those big flares and the tires tucked in so much.
