What are your plans for the truck? If it's simply a lift, then go that route. If you're looking for a mid grade performance suspension with some lift, the raptor swap is for you. Hands down the aftermarket setups will blow a raptor setup away but you can be looking upwards of 5-7k for a true long travel setup just for the front when it's all said and done.

I have the front Raptor shocks too, I did get the lca and uca, tie rods, Lower bolts for the shocks from ford, I also got the Raptor spindles. When its apart I can compare spindles, but the part number is different. I already installed the rear shocks. I have the Raptor leaf springs and bought two bolts for the
forward part of the Leif springs. If you don't want to remove the gas tank it's easier to cut the bolts and replace with new. Check utube for removal and installation. Here's the thing I haven't met any one actually installing the front Raptor shocks. I bought the extra parts incase I need them. Heck I'm not sure if the Raptor spindles will fit my XLT. not every body would consider
getting everything. I got most of my parts at low digits, and not all at once. Some Ford parts like the bolts and spindles. The rear shock don't lift, but the Raptor springs come with 2" lifts. Dam I thought I didn't need new brake lines. I have Raptor fenders, the lca will extend my tires. Then I can remove the 2" wheel spacers. Hey Good Luck! Actually I just wanted the bed but these parts are came up first.

Which will not ride as nice or perform nearly as good off road.

I recently installed the rear Raptor shocks, very smooth ride. A couple of weeks later installed the Raptor leif springs, they came with a 2" lift and stop that lines up with the stock bump stop. To avoid removeing the tank and exhuast. Buy two forward bolts for the front of the leif springs. You'll save time cuting the old bolts off, install new bolts. Watch U Tube.
I have the front shocks as well and putting together parts I might need spindels,
sway bar, end links, two larger bolts for the bottom of the Raptor shocks. UCA
LCA, Tierods , since my 2010 XLT is two drive I don't think I need the CV axles. Is there anything else? I may take the shocks to get new seals, gas. The perch is on the shock it self. Its a ring that fits into a groove, so mid perch is the next groove up. Think of it as a spring ring.

You do not need CV axles, you do not need spindles.

Thanks, I wasn't sure. I picked up the Raptor sway bar yesterday. I think I'm
good. I figure I might as well have the seal replaced and gassed up. What do you think about that? Thanks.

I am having the stock Raptor shocks rebuilt too, might as well since they are off and I do not need them right away.

Thanks for your speedy reply, like I said I picked up the sway bar. Will my stock nuts and bolts fit the raptor bracket. Also besides the bottom bolts for the shocks. Are there any other bolts I'll need? Like for the LCA? Did you have to replace any nuts and bolts? Considering the different UCA & LCA , Sway bar, End links. Is there any thing else I might need or can I use stock nuts & bolts. I ask because people say I need longer bolts for the low end of the Raptor shock. Any other hardware needs upgrading? And what advantage is
having mid perch? Thanks
