Thanks everyone for the feedback. I forgot one bit of information. The truck currently has an insert bedliner that came w/the truck. Since I already have a liner, I was thinking about putting in the cover first. However, I didn't know how problematic it would be to remove the liner, remove the cover, then spray the Line-x and then re-install the cover.

Does the above scenario change any of your opinions?

It's all personal preference as I'm sure you know

I'm looking at doing Line-X, and still on the fence about a tonneau cover. Because you already have a drop in you could likely just get the cover first. If that wasn't the case my first though was to do the Line-X first so you didn't have to remove the Bakflip.

For me, I'm not looking to secure anything in the bed. I'd like get a cheaper rollup tonneau like the Truxedo lo pro qt. However, I know that's just because my requirement are different.

I may get the Line-X Xtra, but I'll only do that if I determine I don't want to get a tonneau.

Anyway, lots to think of. Really can't go wrong either way.

I did line-x first, then bakflip HD cover. Strictly from practicality point of view I did the line-x first so I wouldn't have to disassemble any hardware for the tonneau cover.
