Default What did you regear to?

2011 f150 4x4 ecoboost with 35's and factory 3.55s. SCT livewire with MPT tune. Get 7-15 MPG depending on if im towing. Anyone out there change gears to 4.11s or 4.56s? What power differences and MPG did you notice?

Default What did you regear to?

Can't comment bases of experience in a 09-14 but if I was looking to gear with 35s I would be installing 4.56s.

Don't know if you are asking an Eco specific question but I'm at 13mpg combined on MT ATZ 37's running 4.88's. That's running 85-90.

With my 295/70-18s with 3.55s my mileage was 14 avg and swapped to 4.10s and now avg 16.5 and turn 1500 Rpms at 55mph and 2000 at 70 so close to when it was stock gears and tires i have 5.0 but would expect it to be an improvement on an ecoboost

I would say a gear that gets you back close to stock would be your best bet. So with 35's I would go 4.10, but if you are towing all the time 4.56 might be better. You will pick up a few mpg and what feels like a ton of power

I have 4.56's going in the week after next. Have 34 inch tires and live in the mountains.

ive got a 6 inch lift on 35's. have my ecoboost re geared from 3.55 to 4.10. I also got an sct livewire tuner. before the re gear i was getting about 11.9 mpg, after the re gear and the tuner to help with the bigger tires im getting 14mpg. I have a couple diff tunes on my tuner, one is a stock setup so there are no engine modifications...strictly stock but the tire size is different and the gear ratio. when i run the stock tune i average 14mpg, and at 70mph in 6th gear im at 1950rpm. thats really low so the gas mileage is great but youll lack in power. Now, if i put the 87 tune on, i get roughly 12.5 mpg and in 6th gear at 70mph im at about 2500rpm so there is alot more power but you suffere gas mileage. I believe the difference from both is the tuner is changing your shift patterns on ur tranny...none the less with our trucks reaching peak torque so low in the rpm range i think 4.56 may be overkill. Anyways, hope any of my findings help a lil.
