I got a K&N63 in mine too, it's gonna sound awesome with the s-type.
I was between the s-type and the mbrp XP dual exit rear. 400$ difference I was heading towards the mbrp, but at this price the borla is a bit more affordable, it's the one I really wanted.

yes, the CAI made it a bit louder when you open it up, not a massive difference, but definitely a noticeable one, also looks pretty nice under the hood :-)
So S3 couldnt match the 879$. I'm on the fence again leaning towards the MBRP XP for 600$... Argh decisions decisions... moneys' tight right now...

I have the s type and love it. But if i went back the solo mach x is a bit cheaper and the dual side exits are nicer imo. I think the sound is maybe a little better on the solo too. The tips on the mbrp jyst seem too small to me. But you should check out that solo kit. Guys on here love it.

As previously mentioned, Stage3 has had both the Borla ATAK and SType under $900 for months until now. So you've been missing out.
Well said. Slightly (I mean miniscule) less popping sound, uniqueness, price and Stage3's preference to it over the ATAK sold me on it. I was going back and forth for a while. But I am sure I would have been happy with the ATAK also. Ultimately, I think they're both top quality systems and a major cut above the $400 options or DIY hackjobs. Bot you have to pay for it and I get that many won't want to.
I have the Mach-X and I definitely like it. I listened to all of them including the ones mentioned in this thread. The deciding factors for me were the dual pipes on each side exiting behind the tires and the sound. The system has the best sound imo and brings a smile to my face every time I drive it. It also didn't hurt that I bought it on Solo's black Friday sale and got it for $647 shipped to my door. It is loud when you press the go pedal but is quite tame at cruise speed. I would recommend this system to anyone looking for a dual catback system.

If it were me, I would take a look at the raptor version of the Borla S-type. It has the dual side exit. I don't see why this wouldn't fit other f-150 models. I see guys on here putting raptor exhaust on non raptors all the time. It's $893 right now at stage 3.
