I am running 87 perf/tow.. don't feel much of a need to go any higher really .. I'm also kinda paranoid about putting too much power to the transmission ?!??!.. should I be ?

So that being said ... if your a 5star guy ..
What tunes is your truck mainly running ?

'13 EB here...running 87 P/T from 5 Star on 89 octane fuel. Runs very strong.
3.31 gears with 275/65/20 KO2s and traction control is fighting for its life

I have a 91 P/T also, but have yet to run it. Pretty content with the 87.

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm close to pulling the trigger on the SCT X4 from 5Star. I plan on running the 87 P/T tune 99% of the time, but what are the 3 "go to" tunes that most folks get when they buy the tuner? Thanks in advance!

I don't need any higher that personally and if I ever changed my mind I could pick one anytime

I've got 4 custom tunes from 5* and like them all equally, really can't tell any difference between them, I just have the different octane tunes for when traveling, they don't have 93 octane in a lot of places.

My favorite tune thus far is MPT's race tune, DD it for sometime now and when I stomp the go pedal traffic suddenly becomes a blur, (think the Enterprise jumping into warp speed) lol but yeah I can feel the difference, MPT's tunes are a little more aggressive than 5*.
