I’ll know next week
That sucks! Glad you're not seriously injured.
This might come in handy when you deal with your insurance.
A little coincidental I was going to start a thread about my friends truck and what the insurance company paid him.
He and I bought almost identical trucks, not on purpose. The only difference between the two is that his was a Crew Cab with 5.5 bed and mine a S-cab with the 6.5 bed.
Now his was a 2013 Oxford white Fx4 Ecoboost with the 402a package, w/ 56,000 miles.
Mine, is a 2014 Oxford white Fx4 5.0 Coyote with the 402a package, w/41,000 miles.
The truck was hit from behind by a loaded 18 wheeler. Destroyed the truck. No question about it being totaled.
His insurance company gave him a check for $40,000 dollars! I saw the check, because I thought he was lying.
Never in a million years would I have guessed that. Maybe $30,000 I thought, but never 40. Really has me thinking about trading mine in now.
Btw, he had no major aftermarket parts.
Doesn't that seem very generous... Or am I just off in their value??

Got the Du-Ha, (wife accidentally got the subwoofer, pulled the headlight LEDs, the JWSpeaker fog lights, the locking lug nuts, the lockpick and the home link visor.
I might be able to get back there and pull it if insurance hasn’t moved it yet.

I get it, that it's hard reselling a vehicle with those miles.
Insurance may give you more than a dealer would. Hope that's the case for you...!

It shouldn't be the standard with how much longer these vehicles run today, but that 100,000 mile mark does devalue a vehicle significantly when it comes to trading it in.

Right! I bought the 05 that Fed Ex hit me in for 6500. Truck values a few months later were up. I had over 125K on the truck and made serious money on the truck.
