Then that's a good deal. I'm glad they are making it right. Just curious why you trading your 2010 in? How many miles did you have on it. did you ever have any problems out of it? I have kinda been thinking about trading mine in. Mine only has 20k, I don't drive it hardly at all. I'm kinda thinking about waiting to 2016 but it's hard passing up the 13's!

i'd ask for a few thousand back .... if the dealer didn't notice, you didn't notice....nobody else is likely to notice. The dealer might jump at the chance to be done with it and not get slaughtered on the labor charges, plus now that truck would have to be sold as used having been titled already
no vehicle stays perfect, so if the damage was that minor and you can put a thousand or two back in your pocket .... just sayin' (plus you could always repair the roof, add a safari rack, light bar up there, rhino line the roof and add luggage racks...possibilities are endless once you aren't worried about scratching that pretty paint...... to me thats an opportunity!

dealer might lose a couple hundred in labor to swap his stuff, maybe 300$ for the paint less dent removal, I can guarantee that it was noticed by the dealer, I wouldn't be surprised if the hood was already fixed by either of the dealers, hail doesn't just attack 1 panel.
I like how they are handling it, op get a new undamaged truck, dealer fixes this one and sells it to someone who never knew.
It can still be sold as new, but needs to be a cash deal

Hi Justice! Interesting story yours, not so much for your uncovered misfortune, which is sad, but more for the good will of your dealer. I'd say he deserves two big thumbs up for standing by you that way and you should give them some good publicity lol!
As for your standings, yes, you paid for a brand new truck, but if it rides great and seems flawless I would care less for those damages and save the dealer some headaches and just have them pay for a repair on a professional of your trust. The reason why I think like this is because who can guarantee you that your next brand new truck won't be a lemon of some sort from day one?
Just my thoughts, as I also have a 4 month truck, flawless, and I'd prefer to have it paint done (which is cosmetic and easy) than replaced by a clinck-clunk new machine...
As for the dealer, your help might be very well rewarded if he's as fair as it seems, no?
Anyhow, good luck on both issue and new ride
