I think this should be a Ford recall item . Or at the very least ford should supply these kits for free.

I'd say all the other suggestions were legit, except in the case of zero attempts to fire, ie. zero fuel, so i'm glad you found fuse 27 was borked.

Yes, many people feel it should be a recall item, but, well i'm not sure anyone ever worked out why it sometimes doesn't happen, or does etc. etc. It's not too hard of a job, but many of us change it out pre-emptively with the kit.
