Default Weird ignition issue

Turned the key to start the truck an it got kind of stuck with the starter turning even when I let go of the key but didn`t try and fire.
Did it a second time so I got out and tried the remote start and it just honked the horn.
Go back in after a minuet and it started just fine?

The starter continues to crank after you turn the key, even if you were to let go. Which is why it continued after you let off, normal operation.
Remote start won't work if you have an error code. Have you put a scanner on it? Don't think it will remote start with a bad starter either, but someone else can confirm as I'm not certain. Or a battery that lacks power?

Talked to my mate at the local Ford dealer he thinks the return spring in the ignition key may be wearing out.

Does the key move slightly back after you turn to crank and let go?

The truck has a computer controlled ignition system similar to push button start. When you turn the key you are simply commanding the computer to start the engine. The computer engages the starter and will crank the engine until it starts or for up to 10 seconds.

Negative, your mate at the local ford dealer doesn't know how these trucks start.

Per Ferdinand, the starting is computer controlled, you can treat the key as a push-button start, turn it to position 3 and immediately let go, the computer sends the start command and it will crank and fire up if all is well.

A prolonged crank cycle is often caused by leaking injectors or a faulty purge solenoid. I suspect the solenoid. Basically it's flooding the engine with gas vapors.

Well now the same thing is happening with the remote start, loss of cranking no start?
What's this fuse 27 issue ? i read somewhere there's a fuse relocation kit?
Or maybe the fuel relay control module?
I'll be checking 27 today.
