Weird diff cover thing happened today
Okay, so I ordered a Ford Racing diff cover for my 2014 F150. I'm pretty sure it's the same as what's on a Raptor. I took it to my local Ford oil change shop (quick land) and had them install it while do a differential oil change. The oil change was $159 for synthetic fluids and the cover was over $200. When I got home I was going to wash the cover with a brush to get the oil and finger prints off the plate and noticed that the rivet? on the right side was missing after install. I'm kinda bummed and upset about this situation because of the amount of money I have spend. I don't have a pic of the actual cover on my truck but have circled the rivet missing. I used a high temp silicon and hoping that holds. Any thoughts? Think it'll be ok? I hate to cause a scene. But I can't really imagine wtf happened here.

I guess the Ford tag added $100

I would use an aluminum rivet if it’s just there to hold the logo tag on it.
Maybe carefully drill out the other rivet and redo them both so they match accordingly if you’re OCD like me!
