My 157" FX4 5.0 weighed in at 6768lbs unloaded. I only know because there's a scale at work and I wanted to see how much my new trailer actually weighed.

My 13 5.0 SCAB 4x4 STX, with spray in liner, over rail bed box full of gear, my gn hitch installed and rubber bed mat in place full of fuel and me in the truck was 5840. Love my basic package towing machine. Lots of payload and still plenty comfy to drive long haul.

Just checked my 13 5.0 4X4 STX regular cab short bed. 6950 lb. gross, 5391 lb. unladed. Weighed more than I thought it would.

I thought my fx4 (specs in sig with the 6.5' box) weighed 5800ish according to this info

My buddy with his 05 fx4 w/ 5.5' bed and not fully loaded told me his comes in at 6200 when he goes to the scales. Which is quite often. I was surprised as I thought I weighed less.

I guess I need to look at my door sticker and subtract the 1500ish payload if I want an accurate number.

2010 FX4 super crew weighted in at 6040lb with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas yesterday at the landfill. It's the premium so loaded with 20's and 275/60 tires.

Good to know. I have the 2wd version of your truck so its probably close to 5,000 unloaded for me.

Dang...these trucks are pigs. No wonder Ford wanted to go to aluminum. My quad cab Ram 4x4 went 5,600 with me in it. You're saying my F-150 is 800 lbs more? Geez!

Kind of surprising that the supercrew 5.0 short bed is the heaviest and heavier than the long beds except 6.2 models. According to that chart mine is 5886 stock. Mine probably weighs like 6300 in its current form loaded.

How or why are the v8 long beds lighter?
