Default weight of your trucks

anyone been to an actual scale to see what the truck weighs in at

here is why im asking

I have watched my mechanic put ram 1500 fully loaded up on his lift and alignment machine and it goes up no issues.. goes up quick ... no diff then if a car was on it

then he puts my truck on it
13 f150 plat
empty gas tank, nothing in the bed nothing really added to it over stock
we have done this with the 20 plat rims and tires and 17 raptor stuff too (a bit heavier)

yesterday I went to a scale b/c I bought a trailer and there was no weight on it so dmv would not register it or give me plates without an empty tare weight on it

so went to the scale
drove on with trailer, got a weight...
pulled off, took trailer off and went back truck only
and the weight the guy told me makes sense now why the lift has such an issue lifting my truck

was just wondering if anyone else knows ACTUAL weight of their trucks
from a scale not regie or title
but ACTUAL

Lol...you talk about weight and provide a long story with details of your truck but...you never tell us the weight.

I have to say, it was quite a let down at the end especially when the guy told you that he wasn't surprised why you had issues lifting it.

I have back flip cover, maybe 60-80
maybe 50lbs of work gear in truck (I work in EMS)
I cant see that accounting for all that weight

I thought a Supercrew 4x4 was around 5,700 lbs? Yours seems really heavy.

Look at your GVWR and subtract what it says on the payload sticker.

Mine:
7100 gvwr - 1599 payload = 5501 curb weight

157" XLT 2wd. Probably have around 1200lbs of stuff in the truck though.

yea that's what I thought so I called a friend at a dealer to pull the build sheet
maybe has a heavy duty package I didn't know about or SOMETHING

my bed was EMPTY I had 1 mile to empty on fuel so tank was running low

my door sticker says 7200 GVWR
so I thought 6450 was a lot for the truck
I have 5.5 foot bed
supercrew
ecoboost

hmm maybe that's right then
raptor rims and tires do have more weight then the plat 20/s I would 'guess' like overall 80lbs total ... then add on the high side
80 for back flip
60 for liner
60 for bed mat
my 50lbs of emergency gear for work
lift kit added 20lbs of metal lol
front light bar... 20

I do have a 36gal tank although was pretty empty at the time

add my 370 of extras to your 6020 and its close to what I got

hmm
interesting ..
I thought that # seemed a bit high
but maybe was right on...?

My crew cab 4x4 5.5 ft bed always comes in at 6400 and some change at the local landfill's weigh station with an empty load.
