I'm not a mechanic by any means, but isn't asking about the tires kind of strange? You have no power and he thinks it's the tires? Did he also ask you if Taylor Swift was playing the radio at the time?

After 60k flawless miles in my coworkers 2011 eco while heading to location with an air trailer it had a loss of power and started shaking really bad!!! So ford had it for two weeks fixing it then get it back yesterday and 50 miles later it feels like the turbos aren't working at all and feels gutless! Hopefully yours doesn't do the same thing! Back to the shop it goes!

This is why I'm personally hoping for a recall (even though I know others are strictly against it). I really don't want to find mine start having a problem 5 seconds before it causes an accident and people are hurt or property are damaged.

Yeah I went to stop on my way home and it was shuttering and didn't want to stop I thought I was going into the big ditch for sure but managed to stop in time.

"They asked me if I upgraded the tires"

Yes, there are sometimes issues with changing tire sizes and the traction control warning. Maybe they think it's in limp mode, causing lack of power.

Shuddering coming to a stop and not wanting to stop doesn't sound like the inter cooler issue. That sounds like maybe an abs or traction control module failing. The intercooler issue tends to only rear it's head when accelerating.

There is a class action suit that has been started on this...there is a FB page dedicated to FORD and what they are doing about it... I noticed it the other day. There is a firm that you can contact about this very EB issue.
