No issues, didnt like the tune I tried but that is personal and I know we have some terrible gas around here so it could be that. I was worried about my oil sample. Honestly though, most of the issues I am worried about are because of this place haha.

I wouldnt trade it. Same fuel economy as the 5.4 but I bought it for power not for fuel economy.

Got my '14 screw with 6.5' bed ECO about seven weeks ago. Has 2200 miles and ok so far. traded my 2010 scab 4.6(which I really liked that motor)with 44,000.
this is my forth new style..'04 xlt screw 5.4, '07 lariat screw 5.4, '10 xlt scab 4.6 and now my '14 xlt screw ecoboost. I did lease this one so If problems occur it will be easy to offload.

travis, my issue was the typical one of large amounts of fuel getting into the oil system. you can search for my thread if you want. they performed a TSB on it and all has been well since. Oh, but get an RX catch can system.... the amount of gunk I pull out of my can every 500 miles is astounding.

Does the fuel issue extend into the 2013's?

What does the catch can....catch? Never heard of one before.

17 posts and this hasn't become a 5.0 vs EB pissing match yet? Must be a record!!!

I love my EB. I traded my 2010 with the 5.4 and don't miss the lack of power for a second. (Knock on wood) I've had nothing but great performance out of the motor! My ONLY complain is it's impossible to make the exhaust sound good. Which I can live with any day of the week.

Went from my '98 scab with the 4.6 to my '13 screw with eco and 3.55 rear end . Couldn't be happier The 4.6 got 5.5mpg pulling my 7x14 tandem axle cargo trailer with 2 Harley's in it. The Eco gets 13.5 pulling the same trailer with tons of power to spare. The 4.6 got 16mpg combined city, hwy, while the eco gets 20.
No problems after about 15 months. Not my daily driver cause I don't want it getting beat up in the parking lot at work. I have the Saturn for that.

Put 60,000 on my 2012 Ecoboost. No troubles and the lifetime gas mileage was right at 19 mpg. Traded on a 2013 set up the same way. 16,000 on it so far and no trouble. My 2013 does get only 17.5 lifetime average mpg but have not taken as many long trips with it.
