I just had mine fixed (exact same problem) and there is a TSB on it, as the leak is at the sirus antenna, I will try and get the TSB# for you.

Would be great if you could.
So you had water dripping from the grab handle then as well?

Default Water leak in cab

I purchased my 2009 screw on a Wednesday night in November last year. On Friday Morning I found a leak over back seat. Took it to the dealer that morning and they scheduled a appointment for it to be looked at. While driving around that day I started havin water come out the grab handle near front passenger door. When I took it in for appointment they said one of the drain line in the sun roof was clogged and that caused the water to back up into the headliner. It continued raining (western Oregon). A couple days later I noticed it leaking onto back seat again. I took it back to the dealer very upset and left it there for them to fix, so it would be out of the rain. This time they said it was the seal in the third breaklight that was out and would have to replace the whole unit. A couple days later I picked up the truck and have not had a leak since. If you have a sun roof I would have them check all the drain line for it and also replace the third breaklight unit. I have not had an issue with the sirius antenna but you should have them check that as well.

A dealer that says they have never heard of an 09 or 10 leaking just makes me laugh. This is one of the most commin problems with these trucks. There is a TSB on both antenna and rear brake light leaking and has been for more than a year. Mine leaked twice. You should have no issue getting it fixed

I just noticed this yesterday with my 09 Screw. My son was in the back seat and was complaining that he felt water splashing on him. I thought he was just wet already from running to the truck in the rain. But sure enough, as we pulled into the gas station to fill up, he felt it again. I looked back and saw it running down the rear windshield. From some Google searches, it looks like it is the 3rd brake light.

I'm going to call the Dealership this morning to schedule the service. I just bought this truck used, in July. I wonder how long this has been going on. I'm going to have them check for rust & mold too.

I just called the dealership. The service guy acted like it was common (as he should have) and asked me to drop the truck off for water tests. I had mentioned the 3rd brake light and Sirius antenna as leak locations and he just said "yup!". It sounds like they will test both and fix them. I hope that it is a smooth process.

I'm going to drop it off tomorrow. Thankfully there shouldn't be any rain for a few days.

Had mine sitting in the driveway which has a slight slope toward the front of the vehicle. Got in the truck in the morning after a long night of raining and noticed water dripping along the rear window and streaks where it had been running down the rear window. I took it into the dealership and rep said he was not aware of this issue on the 09-10 year trucks but the olders ones had a problem with it. I opened the door and had him touch the seats and rear window. He asked me to bring it back later in the week when the tech would be there, this rep is only there once a week. Rep came in on wednesday took the truck by and he said yep its leaking, they replaced the entire 3rd brake light unit. This was several months ago and since then it has not leaked. No leaks around the Sirius radio antenna and I don't have a sunroof so for now I am ok....now if I can only get the drivers sun visor clip replaced, tired of the sun visor falling down.

I'm glad to hear that you haven't had any issues since it was repaired. I dropped my truck off at the dealership yesterday. They are supposed to do the water test today and let me know. I'm hoping that they have the replacement in stock and can repair it right away. My driveway looked so empty last night without my truck in it. My kids enjoyed the extra space in the driveway though.

I haven't noticed any leaks in my truck yet, but I'd like to be proactive and prevent them in the first place. I looked at the Sirius antenna on my truck and noticed on the front edge there is a square notch cut out of the seal in the middle, perhaps 1/8" wide. Seems like this would be an ideal place for water to get in. Does this hole serve a purpose? For those that have had the dealer repair their antenna, did they seal up this hole, or replace the seal with a new one that doesn't have a hole? Putting a little sealant in there would be an easy fix.
