They might if it's a TSB

But it's easy to do, pop the A pillar trim, and ther will be enough room to get hand in there. Once off just add some RVT or silicon then put it all back.

No way is a Ford dealer fixing a TSB issue on an out of warranty 6 year old truck amigo. Just clear silicone around it yourself, without removing the sat antenna

TSB is just a bulletin for mechanics to know common problems and the fix. By no means is that a recall. Unless you have some crazy relationship with your stealership they are going to charge you.

Copy that, wasn't sure. I have a pretty good relationship with mine as they know my truck so they might do it for me. But I did it the Silicon myself as a preventive measure. I'd rather spend 10 mins in driveway than a few hours at dealer.

Most TSB's are covered for free if your truck is under the 3yr/36k mile bumper to bumper warranty and presents the problem listed.

But yeah, good luck trying to get them to cover a TSB outside of warranty.

Its an easy job. Had to do it on my 09. Like said just pull off the grab handle and center light area and itll pull down enough to get to the bolt. Pull it off and silicon it and put back together. Havent had a problem since.

Default Water leak

After my 05 was 5 yrs old. I was promptly schooled that a tsb is not a recall.
Meaning...I took the tsb info and fixed it myself. So long ago now, I forget what the hell it was.

Hi MHPrior80,

What's the mileage on your rig? I'll see how I can help it stay dry.

If you'd like a copy of your manual, here's the link to the online version: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo.../10f12og3e.pdf
