I would head up there and talk to the service manager and rip his, and the advisors ***. You will leave in a rental.

Last night I get a call at 5PM saying that will be ready around 4:30 PM today because of cross threaded bolts. Today I get a another call saying that another bolt needs to be be "emergency ordered" and now it will NOT be ready before Monday. So a 4 hour job is now....A 24hour job minimum.

Then I am told that I need an ESP as they can not give me a loaner car. So basically we are down to one vehicle all weekend and my wife works all weekend, too . So 4 hours turned into 24 hours of work time and now I'm without a vehicle for like 96 hours.

I went with Ford because I liked my dealership....they were bought out so I'm using a new dealership. Ohhhh I am royally upset. I've got no problem getting an ESP-----MINUS that I shouldn't need one.

On top of all of this----now that turbo will have been off the truck three times, with several bolts replaced in it....two that were "cross-threaded" and now a broke one.

Guys I had to vent, but this is NOT why I went with Ford. I see now why that CR has them dropping in customer service.

How much is the ESP for 100K miles?? Anyone know----I guess I should've added that into my final price as I guess I needed that one.
I'm trying the read this carefully so I can understand. Cross threaded bolts... From the factory of the dealer trying to reinstall? You need an ESP... For what? The rental would only be covered if it was an ESP claim. Factory warranty is paying the TSB claim right? Plus they couldn't run a claim the day it's purchased anyhow. Either way good luck and hopefully you get your truck back soon.

I don't know what enhanced rental is, but I do know that my standard 5 year / 100k ESP covers a rental minus the taxes for it for as long as they have the truck in for work. I've had it in twice for cosmetic warranty issues and was given a rental without issue both times. Paid about $10 a day in taxes which kinda sucks, but it is what it is. Maybe the enhanced pays the tax? Or gives you a better choice of car? My dealer just has Enterprise on site so I choose up to a full size car and then pay the difference if I want something better.

You have included loaner rental on the ESP if you have to leave the vehicle over night because it was inoperable or may become inoperable if you drive it.

You pay extra for First day rental coverage if you elect that. I think mine cost $95.00 for the life of the warranty. This means you get a loaner as soon as you drop your vehicle off for any covered repair work, regardless if it is covered under the bumper to bumper warranty, the powertrain warranty, or the ESP warranty.

Enhanced rental is also an extra charge so that instead of being allowed $30.00 a day for a vehicle, you are allowed $75.00 a day. This will allow you to leave the Ford Fusion on the lot and take the Expedition instead!

Fuel in oil smell? I've got that in my 2011. I wonder if I'm covered outside of the bumper to bumper.

What is supposed to take place?

Man, that's ridiculous to not be able to get a loaner.

I'll admit, we don't always get the nicest vehicles - sometimes we'll get this lovely specimen of a vehicle:

But at least it is a car. LOL

I had to get my back windshield replaced under warranty. Dealer didn't want to give me a loaner car so I messaged Crystal on here with Ford Customer Care and told her I needed a car to get to and from work and there was no other way for me to do this (which is true). Dealer called the next day and told me to bring the truck in and they will have a rental car waiting for me. They kept their word and thank goodness I had a loaner vehicle because they ran into a few problems with me going back and forth to the dealer to get the truck. All is well now though.

****UPDATE****

Called the dealership today 03/24/2014 and guess what the part "might" come in by this evening. It will NOT be done before tomorrow evening....and that is "IF" the bolt comes in.

I called Ford's corporate office---I figured even they would have to agree that this is ridiculous today is day 5 with no truck, no wheels, no way to do crap. I do NOT think that I should be forced to rent a vehicle because of this.

I called one week before I dropped it off on 03/20/2014 at 0800 hours to prevent any issue like this. I DID MY PART. I was told that a rental was not provided because "warranty is considered to be done at the fastest rate possible and a replacement vehicle was not necessary".

I've been polite, I've been professional----I am F'ing pissed!!!!!!! The only vehicle in my yard is 2013 Interceptor that has spent close to 6 months in the shop over the past 2 years for turbos, injectors, low gear issues, etc. I told the corporate office that I will accept a loss of 13,000.00 if they will buy it back so I can buy a new truck today. I owe 20,477.00 on this piece of crap ECOBOOST.

I haven't said much about 2 previous issues with the truck, I have the double ****** door handle issue that no one can fix.....I have had the battery low voltage message and the battery replaced.

FORD------Any should agree that at this point someone should step-up and do the right thing. I am being told that they really aren't sure when this bolt will come in as it's an emergency order part.

IF THAT BOLT IS ANYWHERE WITHIN 100 miles I will personally ride my mother freaking son's bike to go get it since they can't. I am pissed man....like beyond belief. I'm not happy my turbo will be on/off FIVE TIMES MINIMUM. I feel I need an ESP to be sure that NO OTHER BOLTS ARE SCREWED UP FROM FACTORY.

Guys, how should I feel??? I mean I planned ahead, was undertstanding with day two. At business day 3....I was like well I'll have my truck back. Now at an unknown "day of competition" I'm F'ing steaming!

Then the corporate office told me, "Well, we can submit it but you will not receive an answer until Friday for a loaner". That's just wrong and dirty. I dropped 13K down on the truck.....I saved, scraped, work my ***** off, risk my life, attempt to help people here and in life, and this is how Ford Corporate Office answers the issue.

I see why customer service is dropping, and I'll be dropping it more----This is NOT okay. JUST FYI, Chevrolet stepped up and replaced a gauge cluster for FREE when it was two years out of warranty (2005 Silverado SS--replaced in 2012). The only reason I went with FORD, THE ONLY REASON was because of my dealership that it was bought out.

FORD you give me payoff this paperweight is yours....sell it and make bank. At this point in time my next "Yaris, Camry, Titan, Dodge, whatever-----WILL HAVE this event in the rear glass and say --- "this is why I don't have a Ford".

EDIT: Anyone know how much a billboard add will cost a month----I'm dead serious. This is not okay....I understand I might be going overboard, but if Ford loses ONE sale on a truck this year I will be f'ing thrilled.

It would be covered under the powertrain warrant. 5 year/60K..

I love the way the truck rides, performs, etc. I am not happy that this is even remotely "Normal" according to Ford.

What pisses me off even more is that I've never even used a warranty before and always fixed it myself....what they fixed might have cost me 300.00------> I would have fixed it by now bolts and all.

Why they have this tubo off, maybe they will install some batmo wheels for free----I mean they aren't working on my truck. If I keep this piece I'm dropping 3-4K in performance parts because Ford's issues can be fixed better by me.

CAC probelems, I've had the misfire, too-----Forgot about that. Called the dealership to bring it in and was told, "it's normal, if it does it again...bring it in".
