On my 2012, I had to have them replaced at about 3,000 miles.
Done under warranty.
When I had brakes done about 50k, they were warped again.
At just 12k, I would appeal that this should be a warranty issue.

I do not know what feels about dragging pads. While pushing brakes steering wheel shakes bad. Also only happens at downhill and when drive for while.
I also thought it should be cover under warranty, but i guess dealer thinks different way.

The worst for rotors is light application of brakes for a long period of time. It generates a lot of heat that can warp the rotors.
Any instances like that in your vehicle's history?

there's an article out there from a pro-racing mechanic, stating, in short, that warped rotors are nothing more than an urban legend...
Most cases seem to come from uneven deposits on the rotors that can be eliminated with a few "heat cycles" (ie, hard breaking from 50 to 5mph, without stopping, 5-6 times in a row).
Wish I had a link to it, but that's the summary!
