Default Warning lights!!

I've got a 2009 lariat 5.4 4wd and got in truck this morning to find out my brake light, abs light, and my reaction control are staying on and won't go off. Even if I hit traction control it stays on. I know when I went to get inspection done they said 3 of my 4 tpms sensors were bad just wasnt worried bout those except the notification kept coming on for them. Any suggestions or trouble shooting to start with?

I just went through this same issue, turned out to be a failed ABS module. Had same three lights as you plus a code of C1300 and B1342. I'm currently waiting for my ABS module to be repaired. Pull your codes, I'll bet you have a whole bunch of ABS codes.

When I had it scanned it did say abs module malfunctioned so it's that. What is the part number and also is it vin specific? I've looked and saw many different layouts for it haven't had time to pull it or even locate it yet either. Also the lights went off later this afternoon and hadn't come back on since.

Yup, mine did the same, lights would go out one day then be back the next. Over the next few days they came and went. I went ahead and dug into it. It's located just below your air filter box in the engine bay. Not hard to access if you remove the air filter box. A new module will run you about $700-900 bucks from what I could find. Then someone here suggested getting it repaired. A place out in CA called modulerepairpros.com will refurbish your module for $167 and ship it back to you. It is part number specific but check their website to see if yours is listed. If you were to get a new module it would have to be programmed to your truck by the dealer or shop. If you get yours repaired you don't have to reprogram it because it's your module you get back. I just got an email that they received mine today and will let me know when it ships back to me.

Let me know when you get your module back and how it goes. Wanna see best place I can send mine to. Especially since there's not really anywhere to take it to in NC close to me

Mailed my module on a Friday, arrived Tuesday (due to Columbus day), received a tracking number on Wednesday (1 day turn around!), module arrived today (Saturday). I'm in NC too. Took about 15 minutes to put it back on, I've gotten good at getting in and out of there quickly haha, plugged everything back in, booted up forscan and cleared all codes and ran a diagnostic self test. Everything seems good, no codes or warning lights on.

If I don't have forscan could I just clear codes w regular ubd2 reader? Kind if like regular check engine codes? What's the company you sent to? Either website or email to send info? Where about in NC are you?

As long as your code reader has the ability to actually clear codes then that's good too. I sent mine to modulerepairpros.com. I'm in Elizabeth city, near the outer banks.
