Default Brake recall

Anyone gotten the recall done? How'd it go?
My truck has been at the stealership for a month, it let go about 4 hours before the mailman delivered the notice. They are quoting me October for parts.

They should be replacing the parts, then when the redesigned parts are available putting those in.

I know others have had that done. I would be making some phone calls.

Received my recall notice and called my dealer. They told me parts are not available yet and when they are we will receive another notice, so still waiting.

May want to keep some brake fluid in the truck so you can limp home if it lets go. You'll get a little warning from the low fluid light, doesn't give you much time!

Same here, but I have not had any problems with low brake fluid.

I made it 3 minutes from home when the light came on, got to the house with enough fluid to stop in the driveway not much more. Funny thing, I re-filled it and even with the truck off the fluid was empty a short time after.

What recall is going on? Also, what years?
