Good luck, that's all I can say. I have been to 2 different dealers with this issue. I have had all 4 tires replaced, rebalanced, road forced, anything you can imagine. They claim its tires, but will not warranty another set of tires so they want me to drop 800-1k in a new set of tires. Its in right now as we speak for this and paint peeling on the grille. Its supposed to be ready this evening so I will figure it out over the weekend. The service manager told me he has seen it quite a bit and "its just a characteristic of the truck" Hm, funny, the 2 guys I work for don't have the issue and they are both driving 2012 f150 platinums. Ford service has been slightly helpful, they've extended some nice offers but this vibration HAS TO GO!!! 45k for a truck and they cant get it right. Ive just about lost my faith in Ford.

Dirtbusters you can tell the service manager that helped you that he doesn't know SH!# and take him on a road test with you in your truck and then have him get the keys to one on the lot and take him in that i went in today and talked to my sales rep and he gave me keys to another 4x4 EB and i took him for a test drive and it drove smooth all the way to 90mph so the shake is not normal

I'd forgotten about this thread, but with 65,000 miles of my truck now, my vibration is back. What is Ford doing about this? Anything? Now that I'm out of warranty it would suck to have to pay out of pocket for an issue I've had since the beginning.

I have this same vibration at about the same speeds mentioned but only in the summer months on the stock Goodyears. The passenger seat is hog wild but can't feel it in the steering wheel.

Well after the dealer having my truck for the third time they called back today saying that they've traced it to the tires and are replacing them but checking with ford to make sure they will cover it because i didn't get any of the extended warranty so i will let you know if it stops the vibration

Well, after mine being in again for a few days they rebalanced the tires and it was much better, but alas, it seems to have come back again in the 40-50 mph range. I havent driven it on the interstate yet but I'm just about at the point of buying new wheels and tires. Ford has failed us again...I hope the next model doesnt have this many issues as I am planning on buying another one in a few years...

Took mine in last month for the same problem at 80mph and above. Seemed to calm down after 85 (not that I go that fast...). Also had some shuddering under heavy braking and the clunk from the drive line at launch. They turned the rotors to address shudder under braking, greased the slip yoke to address the clunk, but couldn't recreate the high-speed vibration. I was hoping one of the fixes addressed the high-speed vibration, but it was still there immediately after pick-up (not so sure how they missed it). I've had great service from the dealership, but this issue is somewhat concerning when you're trying to pass someone and your almost $50k truck starts vibrating with your newborn and wife in the backseat. After all the CAC issues (which are now addressed and no more issues) and the fact that I had to have my rear-end re-built at 20k miles (3 attempts at an out of town dealership that didn't know the difference between their @$$ or a hole in the ground), the numerous transmission re-flashes due to awkward shifting, I'm starting to second guess the quality of this truck. It seems like it's one thing then another. I'd love to be able to buy a vehicle and drive and maintain it without all these headaches.

My only concern is when my rear-end had to be rebuilt. I'm worried that the other dealership (small Texas town) did a hack job on it, since they broke damn near every piece they could trying to rebuild it. I was stuck out of town for 4 additional days while they ordered new parts to replace what their tech broke trying to reassemble mine. I've only noticed the vibration since then, but not immediately following it. Might be a coincidence, might not. Either way I'll be taking it back to my dealership when I can to have my service advisor go on a drive with me so he can experience the high-speed vibration.

I want to arrange for a follow-up call from your CSM, DirtBusters. Since we've been in touch in the past, just send me a PM with your current mileage and a verification of your best daytime phone number; I'll make it happen.
