I got a 2014 Screw with the EB and a 3.15 ratio locking rear axle. Like you, I didn't get it to tow, just a daily driver. The higher speed rear axle will keep the rpm down some at higher speeds and help maximize economy. JMO

That seems to make a pretty good difference on a heavier truck like a loaded up crew cab. But my 2014 regular cab short bed w/4.10's gets more MPGs than my 2011 Scab w/3.73's got.

I don't understand why everybody acts like the 5.0 can't tow. I just pull a trail from at.louis to philly and back, and had no problems. I've heard the 5.0 does better on gas mileage while pulling a trailer. I know it does way better than my 5.4 I had.

besides any other reason, aftermarket 5.0L badges look way better than the girlie ecoboost badge.
