Ok guys I've been looking for the best price on a set of 295/70/18 trail grapps and I came across a used set with 13/32's of tread left for 900 bucks firm and a new set off eBay is 1165 shipped to my door do you guys think its worth the extra dough to buy the new ones considering the used set is almost at half tread of what they come with?

The last 1/2 of tread wears away WAAAAAAY faster than the first half because the tire cannot as effectively mediate the heat generated by the tire......get new ones for that small difference in price.

I'd get new ones for that price. Or put a low offer in on the used ones. Also consider that the last 2-3 32nds is not really usable tread because that's down to the wear bars and should be replaced.
