Ok that didn't seem to work any other suggestions

iPods and sync are notorious for having problems together. Try pulling your sync fuse, turn on the truck, turn the truck off and then reinstall the fuse. This normally works.

Rnlcomps suggestion didn't work? Does the voice control usually work?

Madorski 01-29-2014 06:39 PM

Voice Control usually works. It'll come back with the whole "Sync has detected a new device... bit".

However it may be indexing (my classic was a PITA for that, 20,000 songs) or it may have not been recognized.

Did you try asking her very nicely? :D

Hi.

Wow - that's an elegant solution! Sync sure has come a long way :

Me? I prefer the voice control method:

Push the talk key and say "Listen up you fekkin' piece of chit. You either sync up RIGHT NOW or I'm gonna hook up 120 volts to a USB cable and stick it up yer USB ayss! Savvy???". Hmmm.. it's working now .... lol

Unfortunately I have already had to do this several times already (just got the truck in May). Works every time though.
