Upset over my Ford Dealership

i thought most (all?) areas had a law requiring stores that sell oil to take in used oil to keep idiots from dumping their used oil in the creek or down the sewer.... guess maybe some areas are still too dumb to do that

I always get the works package done on my truck and this last time I took it in for the works i marked one of my tires to ensure that they actually do the tire rotation. Sure enough the tires were not rotated but I had already paid the invoice and drove it home before I checked this. When I went back to the dealership to confront them they said they only rotate the tires when necessary... But the dealership also recommends rotating tires ever 5k - 8k kms?
My biggest problem with this situation is that they still charge full price for the works packagae when they aren't doing all the work.
I go to Advantage Ford in Calgary where they charge $79.99 for the works. A regular oil change here is $59.99 so they are charging an additional $20 for nothing, which I find bulls***. NOt only that, I doubt they are doing a visual brake inspection or checking tire pressures!

i've never heard of disposal fees. is that possibly a regional thing? sometimes the parts stores give me a hard time if i bring more than 5 gallons at a time (they still always take it for free).
my dad bought a waste oil heater for his shop and office... he has 12 peterbilt 10 car haulers and the hydraulic oil in one truck for the decks is enough to heat it for one month in the western new york winters if they are mindful of keeping the bay doors closed (not a big deal since he has 12 trucks worth of hydraulic oil)... and the oil has to get changed once a year

I feel your pain. I have had my truck in for service twice now(oil change/tire rotation) and to check issues with my crappy air conditioner. The last time I had a rear brake that was sticking. Both times I was told there was not any codes that popped. Besides not addressing either issue I had, the dealership also: 1) First oil change, they changed the filter and not the oil. This I noticed the week aftr the service interval, while checking fluids before a trip. The oil was dark, as well as low. 2) Damage was also noticed on two of my chrome clad rims. This was pointed out to the service manager when the porter brought the truck around. 3)I got a response from the dealership, but only after flaming them on their survey. While the service manager offered to "personally" look at my vehicle, and a loaner vehicle would be provided, when it came time to arrange the truck to be brought in and loaner vehicle set up, all communication ceased. Its been 3 weeks now, and phone calls as well as emails have not been returned, even after advising them I would be going elswhere for service or issues.
The dealership hounded me for all kinds of stuff, email wise as well as phone calls, until this went down....I guess thats the only good thing that has come of this so far...No more unwanted spam from them...
