Default upgrading stereo

hello, im wondering if it is possible to upgrade the stereo and keep my steering wheel controls as well as the sync ? is there other electronics or accessories tied in that would be affected? this is on a 2011 xlt

The stereo/audio section people are good, check there.

But yes, there are tons of people who have upgraded their stereos, and kept sync. The PAC AOEM24(I think that's the #) will retain sync.

I don't have sync, but I still used it to wire in a small 4 channel amp (alpine ktp-445U)for my door speakers. I replaced the door speakers within a week of buying my truck. Sounds 10 times better

a new product just came out called the idata link maestro. it keeps all the sync and steering wheel controls. i am getting this when i do mine.
