Default Max Stereo Amp Wattage

I'm just trying to get a general idea on what max total RMS wattage I can run before having to upgrade alternator, battery, and wiring because of dimming lights or causing some other electrical issue on the new F150s? Just trying to get a ballpark figure.

I am running a 600 watt 5 channel amp without any problems however I am also running it through a very small aux battery and isolator switch. Keep in mind our trucks are amp hungry as it is, Nobody ever puts much more amperage in their alternators than they have to and also running big amps lessen the life on the alternator either way! I guess the real question is what do you want as far as a system???

An idea I had was to run Infinity Kappa components up front, Infinity Kappa coaxial in the rear doors, maybe a single JL Audio 12" sub powered by a 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate 5 channel amp... But not 100% for sure yet... Does that sound like a decent setup?

does to me!!! Mine rocks and it is the prime R600-5 so another 400 watts should be great! I always use a aux battery so I can sit on the tailgate and rock out and not have to worry about the truck starting. I can jam about 2 hours or so on the small battery I put in, then when I start the truck it charges it on the way down the road! I don't like that 10 minute deal ford has so I had to do it my way!

Don't have a good picture guys but here is what I got and did for you.
First a little story, I had a jump start that wasn't big enough for the heavy duty trucks to start well so I tore it apart and used the battery and got a much bigger one for the job. I used that battery for my aux for a couple of reasons., first It will last a couple of hours at least and second it can be installed inside the truck without any acid or fumes... Now you can but just the battery or get a jump start for about the same price. What is nice about tearing down the jump start is you get a usb charger, a 12 volt outlet and a power cord to plug into the wall. This is cool if you want to charge it up from a long day detailing your truck instead of having to drive the truck to charge it up.

now here is how you (I) hook it up!

here is a link of the one I did this with... it was on sale for 30 bucks when I got it. Also if you look at the picture both of the jump start and my hook up you will notice I also tore out the led lights and mounted then in the storage unit so if I need to flip up my seat and look at the amp or what ever I use the led lights too!!
