Yes, I have spoken with an attorney and the case is solid. Letters go out today to Ford and Ford Credit as per NC Lemon Law so we should hear something back pretty quick once they receive it. We are requesting a "Collateral Trade" and no usage fee since the truck is less than a year old and the problems with the tranny have started at 1,741 miles on the truck.

Default New Issue!

Today I went to Walmart to meet my wife for lunch and after parking my truck on a relatively flat spot (some pitch for rain run-off) my truck started rolling in reverse. I hear people screaming and turned to see what was going on and see my truck heading for another vehicle! I ran my **** off and while running I unlocked the doors jumped in and hit the emergemcy brake just inches from the other vehicle!

This is really getting old and ugly fast and due to me pursuing the Lemon Law the dealer cannot touch the truck...also on Thursday Aug 5th my TCS light started coming on after I hit a pothole and wouldn't turn off until I turned off the truck and restarted. Now it just comes on when it wants no matter what I am doing, talk about insult to injury.

Lastly I did verify the truck was indeed in PARK!

Dark, deffinitely keep me posted as to what goes on with this whole process and feel free to pm me if you would like. My tranny is getting no better also, in fact messed up twice this weekend, and I might be going this route too since the dealer seems to think that everything is fine.

Dealer/Tech confirmed my issue and said to me normal operation until I went to several other dealers (3 total) and tested other trucks (8 total) and proved that this was specific to my truck. They then got the FSE (Field Service Engineer) involved who confirmed the issue, tested another truck on the lot and then had them rip down the tranny and diagnose and they found a medium sized pit at the seal in the tranny pump (this confirms my tranny issues from day 1), burnt clutches, fluid and major damage to the tranny overall, took them 19 days to finally replace the transmission.

The issue they found confirmed all my complaints about the tranny issues from 1,741 miles and included shifting hard, slipping when passing someone and the final straw slipping in the morning in reverse and was on average 6 secs until the clutches grabbed!

You need to get the FSE involved and let them rip apart the tranny and diagnose it but be prepared for a long process as they are all swamped with recalls on trannies for the Edge and Fusion line....

My truck has been in the shop 5 times for transmission related problems and now after a tranny replace the problem still exists....

Sorry for all the problems that you are having with your truck... But thank you for posting them. Maybe this might be able to help one of us out in the future(God forbid..). If something should go awry... GL w/ FSE on tuesday...

Just a quick update....

FSE looked at the truck and said he found nothing wrong, of course he didn't, he also had an attitude and didn't want me to go for the ride when he test drove it.

I took it to a mechanic and he confirmed all of my issues with the truck and said the issues I am experiencing are not normal as the FSE had stated.

I am going to a few more mechanics and then the media and lastly my attorney is going to pass this on to a Lemon Law expert who says my case is solid...so the saga continues..........

If I was put in your situation I would park my truck right in front of their lot with a big azz sign on it telling everyone about my experience with FORD. I would demand a new truck for my silence. Props to you for your patience. I would not be able to do it.
