Default Rigid 20" in Ecoboost bumper

Thinking of adding a 20" LED from Rigid in the gap in front of the IC. Have heard mixed reviews from researching this online. What do you guys think? I live in NC so it does get hot here...other option would be a 30" behind the grill but I worry about the loss of light through the Lariat grill. Opinions?

X2 scrap those fugly KC's and drop the light bar on that. Halogen KC's are so '80's, lol.

Fwiw I had the square version of that light and used it as reverse lights. Bright, nice out put, but lasted a little over a year. Got water in them, corroded the insides, supposed to be sealed, yeah right.

not a big fan of the LED look on an external light bar - I like the flush mount, clean look if I were to nix the KC's. To each their own, I suppose...

So back to the question of mounting a 20" in front of the IC in the bumper gap - any personal experience with this?

I did it to mine. Had to pull the bumper pads off to fit but if you buy the U-Cradle from rigid it will bolt right into the framework inside the hole.

Moody, is yours a EB? If so, how long have you driven it like this? What type of climate are you in? Worried that in NC, the summers get pretty hot...

I'm not a fan either but it's an option. I would go 20" in the bumper as I haven't heard anything bad about it other than being a bit low height wise.
