Unofficial Light Thread
Been waiting since December to fit my $169.00 30" light bar, and today I did. Made a video of it.

I'd love to install this setup, but I would like to see a link to the light and how you mounted it up behind the grille.
Thanks!
Right now it look s like the vendor is selling the light bar for $166.00.
It'll come with a cheap harness that I did not use and without a weather pack connector. I used Hella weather pack relay and relay base, and made my own weather pack connectors. Inside the cab, I used a 6 pin trailer connector so I could pull the center thingy out with the elevator switch installed. I tapped power off of the fuse box with a mini add-a-fuse thingy (I had to nibble at the fuse box cover to make it fit.
Wire wise, I came into the cab at the rubber grommet in the front passenger floor under the carpet (at the same place as the wires for Amp Powerboards) and ran the wire to the center console under the carpet, siliconing the grommet before buttoning everything up. Power and ground were run behind the glove box and zip tied everywhere because I loath rattles. I used shrinkwrap on soldered connections and under the hood and used the accordion-looking plastic stuff to protect the wiring harness I made as well as wrapping it in Scotch Super 33 electrical tape.
It all turned out well.
FYI, these light bars are all using the same housing. The only real difference in them is quality control don't let these resellers fool you.

Thanks again for the info!
If the foam breaks down or doesn't work, I'll drill a hole straight through the rear of the cooling fins and use two locknuts to adjust a carriage bolt up and down as a third leg. I'll put a rubber grommet on the head of the carriage bolt.
Understand that this is Minnesota and outside projects don't always get completed in one day when it gets cold outside.
N-Fab lightbar with Hella 700's (with 100w bulbs) in the center and 500's with stock bulbs on the outsides. Thinking about buying LED's to replace my backup lights and maybe a HID retrofit down the road...or keep pestering my buddy that works at the auto recyclers to keep an eye out for a set of OEM HID's. For now have the Philips X-treme Vision bulbs in the factory housings

Before upgrading the center bulbs. All 4 aux lights and highbeams

Also, do you have a link to where you bought the light bar? I have a 2010 F150 Platinum and am looking for a bolt on option that is similar to what you pictured.
Thanks in advance!
Nice setup. Was the N-Fab light bar easily bolted on? Did it bolt right up, or did you have to mod anything?
