Built mine. 20 bucks! Gotta do a little more to it.

Brand new F-150 owner here. I upgraded from a Crew Cab Frontier when my son (just turned 2) grew long enough to kick me in the elbows from his car seat.

Just wanted to say that these home-made storage units are nice. I also like the aftermarket ones... However, since I have a car seat in the middle on my back row, I don't think I'll be flipping the seats up very often. I was wondering if anyone knew of any aftermarket units that had a slide out drawer or something?

Default Underseat storage

why buy a plastic storage unit for $100+ when you can build one for less than $20. 1x8 cut into three pieces, jig saw to shape the ends (to butt into back of seat), wrap with carpet fabric. It was simpler than my kids elementary school projects and looks great too after its installed. Looks more finished than a aftermarket plastic or metal storage tub.

Done with mine. Works great. I boxed mine all in and I'm glad I did Because if i have to remove it I don't have to pull all the stuff out of it separately.

I just finished mine. Thanks for the ideas. I did a 2/3 wide version so that I have full depth on the passenger side.

Just built mine, made two boxes out of 1/2"
press board. Covered it with some vinyl I got at a fabric store in the remnant section.
Total cost was $27
