I love my 2011's seats. They're nice and wide and I'm 5'10, 257 lbs so not skinny either. The headrests could be further forward for me IMO.

I have a lot of trouble with how far forward modern cars seem to have the headrests.

Fortunately my 2012 F150 Lariat came with ratcheting headrests, and they're comfortable to me when ratcheted almost all the way back.

I'm 6'2" 280 lbs. I don't have a problem with the seats in my 2011. Just tilt the back towards the back a little so the headrest doesn't stick so far forward.
The most comfortable seats I ever had were in my 2010 Sport Trac.

They look like they fit pretty nicely though.

OP, I'm with ya. I'm 6'2, 190. Headrests kinda push my head forward even when ratcheted all the way back. I raised the headrest up a couple of clicks. The top of the headrest kinda clears the top of my head a little. I may break my kneck if rear ended, but at least I'm comfortable in the meantime. The headrests never made me break my back being so uncomfortable or anything. Just didnt like the feeling of them touching the back of my head occasionally. Annoyed me.

I'm 6'3 225lbs and I'm stuck in that LA traffic for hours often enough, and drive this truck to Vegas 4-5 hours and I think the seats are very comfortable.. Like the other member, the headrests in my 12' can move forward and back.. But I never have my head on it anyway

I think the issue is your version of comfortable Having the seat straight up is far from comfortable to most people.

I have to put my head back to touch the head rest and I don't have my seat back particularly far. I drove Florida to NY in 18hrs. Most comfortable drive ever. Until you can replace or alter your current head rests, I would suggest you just put your seat back a tad.

i am going to contact the dealership my dad got his truck from this weekend and see if I can buy a ratcheting headrest from a '12 or newer, or at least go there and see if it helps at all.
