Might be stupid question... Any way to put a regular air filter in an '09 F-150? Not the rectangular filter that comes stock.

A panel filter is a regular air filter. Its simply a different type of filter from the older trucks. If anything I would say the panel filter is more of a regular filter than a canister type filter that was used in the older trucks. Most(I wont throw a number out there, but a **** ton) cars and trucks use a panel filter. The new intake with the panel filter is supposedly a ton better at moving air than the canister type filters on the older trucks.
