Mostly forum fodder, I'd expect the same thing on any vehicle forum.

Forum Fodder. If I totaled my 2011 I'd go straight back to the dealer and buy the same damn thing over and over again. Every guy I've talked to in person loves theirs.

It's forum fodder. Most of these guy's wives don't allow them to complain at home. So they come on here to get it out of their system.

I am new here, just got my FX4 few days before thanksgiving and I had just come from a car that was considered a lemon so dependablity was a concern of mine in my decision. You have to remember ford sells close to 600k of these trucks a year and in 2004-2005 they sold close to 1 million in those years. It is consistently the worlds best selling car.
Production on that level you are bound to have trucks with problems here and there, issues are more heavily seen in redesign years then the production and solutions are smoothed out in the factory. If you get the number of complaint threads compared to the amount of trucks produced by ford each year the percentages aren't bad at all.
