So far they are outstanding! Quieter than the previous OC A/T's with a good "feel" on the road. You have to intentionally be listening for the "noise" and it's more of a slight hum. Stiffer ride than the stock Scorpions but with 10-ply that's expected, and only an 8 lb. increase in weight per tire.

I'd post pics but can't seem to figure out the photo bucket thing to get them here.....

Question 1978 project.

I recently bought a 1978 F150 to rebuild/restore for my 16 year old son... This truck had been sitting for 5 years. Primed carb and it fired right up.
However we have replaced the fuel pump, put a carb kit in getting ready to do plugs, wires points ect. While I was test driving it after carb kit, parked at friends and left it running, idle was a little to fast for me so i tapped the gas pedal and it kicked down. Then the oil light came on until I put it in gear and got rpms up..when I would slow down or let off gas, oil light would come on when I accelerated it would go out. Does anyone know if this is due to emission control issues or oil sending units. The boy wants to drive it to school and I wont let him ulntil I know it wont blow up. Just wondering if someone could tell me where to start as this is my first
Ford..

This should give you an idea of tread pattern and width of the Toyo A/T II's at 11". I wanted good mud and snow tires without increased tire width. These have been excellent so far.
