Default typical General Motors

Didn't even offer a truck for testing! The embarrassment of losing must have scared them.

Why did Nissan and Toyota send their smaller trucks? I thought it was supposed to be their "biggest and baddest."

To be fair, throw that 17 grand at the Toyota and you could build a super truck, but still that is what the raptor was built for.

Well, first and foremost, all of the trucks, except for the Ford Raptor were 4-door trucks. Not only that, but they aren't even the same "class" of trucks.

Their trucks are clearly behind the curve at the moment. That will presumably change. In the meantime why enter vehicles that can't possibly do well? All that will do is create a bad review. The public will remember the bad review. They won't remember that it doesn't apply to the newer trucks GM will eventually market.

The question is, how did they allow themselves to fall so far behind in such an important segment? Still, I give them marks for at least living in the land of reality.
