Did you ever find the answer to your question? I am curious as well.

Isn't the size of your sub-woofer more important than the size of your tweeter?

yes I know but since I don't have the Sony package like "some ballers" j/k, I am installing my own sound system and I wanted to add components speakers in the front with out cutting anything, so I wanted to buy the pillars with the tweeter holes intergreted to make things easy.

That's exactly what I am planning to do also. I have a set of Polk SR tweeters and I want to make sure they fit before I shell out $250 on new A-pillars.

BTW - Crutchfield is no help on this issue.
