Default Tuner Programmer

Did a search but mostly found older threads.

Looking for a tuner programmer to correct speedo and add some grunt.

5.4 auto 2010 4x4. Quick pros and cons of each?

Anyone have experience with ITSX? Seems like a decent setup with iPad. Comparable to sctx4?

I use the SCT Livewire, but recommend going with the basic SCT x4 as the only thing I paid more for was a better display screen ... only to decide that I didn't care to permanently mount it anyhow. I HIGHLY recommend getting it from 5 Star Tuning and having them write you a custom tune. I wrote a couple tunes and felt good about myself ... then downloaded theirs and can't even describe what a difference it made in my machine. Ford needs to fire their PCM crew and hire the 5-Star programmer. Shifts better, Lots of extra power and even better gas mileage. I'm running 33's and regeared my gear/axle ratio to 4.56, as well as having aftermarket intake and exhaust ... 5 Star customized the tune to account for all mods and recalibrate speedo/odometer.

Thanks you helped my decision with x4 or livewire. They look the same just bigger display.

Yep, they have the exact same functionality as far as tuning/error code reading ... Livewire just has some fancy display options if you want to mount it in your vehicle and leave it plugged into the OBD port. I decided against mounting it, so I should have saved the extra $200
